Villa Oliviero Wedding in Positano, Italy
At the end of October, I had a great opportunity to photograph Diana and Michael’s wedding at Villa Oliviero in Positano, а beautiful place in the south of Italy. Amalfi coast is considered to be one of the best places for holidays in Italy.
The wedding took place at Villa Oliviero, perched on the cliffs directly above the sea washing the Amalfi Coast. It has three levels with terraces and several rooms, so there are different options on planning the wedding zones and where to held cocktails, ceremony, dinner and after-party. Villa Oliviero has its special, unique Italian charm so everyone will fall in love right away once they are there!
It was a real pleasure for me to shoot Diana and Michael’s wedding. It was a sunny day celebrated with the family and friends, who came from all over the world to share joy and happiness with the married couple. Diana and Michael were getting ready in different rooms and saw each other for the first time at the wonderful terrace bathed with sunlight. After that, we took a short walk and did some portrait photos on the cozy streets of Positano.
One of the most emotional moments of the day was the wedding ceremony where Diana and Michael said the words of commitment and love to each other. The groom was so touched by the bride’s words that he broke into tears. It was so sincere and cute! All the guests got nice presents from the couple – small bottles of famous Italian liqueur Limoncello. I loved the floral décor – the arch and centerpieces in violet and turquoise colors supplemented the natural beauty of the venue in an elegant and sophisticated way. The naked cake was a delicious and wonderful end of the day!
That was the day full of tears and laughter, joy and touching words, dances, and songs.
Villa Oliviero is one of my favorite wedding venues in Positano!
