Elegant Hildene Wedding in Vermont
A beautiful Hildene Estate Wedding in Manchester, Vermont.
Jenna and Zack’s wedding was at Hildene, the former summer home of Abraham Lincoln’s son Robert. Located in the beautiful Vermont village of Manchester, Hildene is a gorgeous destination. Once you come there, this place will simply blow you away!
Hidden in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont, the town of Manchester has its own unique charm. Visiting Manchester, you will feel this special atmosphere of classic New England. There are a lot of churches, small cafes and restaurants, as well as old-fashioned shops. Every year a lot of tourists come there for skiing in winter but it’s worth coming in other seasons of the year as well.
The territory of the estate is 412 acres and includes a mansion, garden and observatory, Welcome Center and other buildings and facilities. The name Hildene derives from the old English words and it means hill and valley with a stream. The house is surrounded by incredibly green mountains and the view is stunning!
The newlyweds, Zack and Jenna, met in High School in New Hampshire and went to different universities in Vermont. When they graduated they moved to NYC together. Zack asked Jenna to marry him in November 2017, a few months after their 10th anniversary. They were married on the exact date of their 12th anniversary in 2019.
They chose Hildene as they loved the venue from the first look. They wanted an outdoor wedding with lots of greenery and the estate’s garden immediately impressed the couple.

The ceremony place was so amazing and it was located on a 300-foot promontory overlooking the Battenkill Valley. The father of the bride built a beautiful round arbor. 
After the ceremony all the guests had a wonderful time in the gardens drinking cocktails, chatting with each other and taking photos. 
The reception took place in a big tent installed just under the hill. 
After very sincere and emotional speeches crazy dances followed and sparklers exit!
