Weddings

It’s time to post such a wonderful wedding at Bourne Mansion in Oakdale, Long Island. There are so many wonderful venues in New York that would be the perfect backdrop for that extra special day. The challenge is to find that perfect space for a celebration of love and permanence. There is one venue that delivers style and sophistication in equal proportion. For generations, Bourne mansion has kept a loving eye on those who want to celebrate that most special of days.

Bourne Mansion wedding venue

I love this place for its spectacular views, which are great for taking photographs. Nowadays historic Bourne Mansion is one of the most beautiful Long Island wedding venues. It may remind you of the times of the Great Gatsby. This venue has everything that I like as a wedding photographer: spacious rooms with enough natural light for the preparation of the bride and groom, a great outdoor place for the ceremony and an elegant interior for the reception.
The ballroom that is available for receptions provides for an indulgent experience that elevates that perfect wedding experience. The soaring 40-foot ceilings of the Main Ballroom and space itself are the perfect expression of the union – and the view from the patio provides assurance to those who take part that permanence is part of the marriage compact. It mimics those days where exuberance and joy were the end result of a celebration of sharing enjoy.
The dedicated wedding team will also provide invaluable advice when it comes to setting the scene for those who want something extra special. Only 90 minutes from Manhattan, this is a wedding venue that ticks all the relevant boxes.

Wedding day

Briana and Jared’s Bourne Mansion wedding was gorgeous. One of my favorite moments was their first look a few hours before the ceremony. Such an intimate and special moment! A touching ceremony with Jewish and Catholic traditions was held on the territory of the venue. My other favorite moment was the sparkler exit at the end of the wedding which is always fun and looks great on the wedding photos.

Take a look at the NYC engagement session of this cute couple that I photographed in spring!
