As one of New York City’s premier wedding photographers, I’m thrilled to share insights into the enchanting The Pierre Hotel, a premier wedding venue in the heart of Manhattan.

If you’re considering this iconic venue for your special day, be sure to check out this Refined Wedding at the Pierre.

The Pierre, A Taj Hotel is one of my favorite wedding venues in NYC. It’s a timeless icon situated in the heart of Manhattan. Known for its elegant architecture and sweeping spaces, it would be the ideal venue for your upcoming wedding. The hotel first opened its doors in 1930. Over the past 92 years, many starlets have hosted their events at this beautiful venue. Coming in at 41 stories tall, the property has everything you need to make your wedding the most memorable and unique day of your life.

The Pierre Hotel has several beautiful spaces available, depending on what the couple’s vision is. With over 20,000 sq ft of venue space, The venue can accommodate an event of any size. The following rooms are available at The Pierre:

The Grand Ballroom

With room for up to 700 seated guests, the Grand Ballroom is a showstopper. The silver and gold ceiling, along with several crystal chandeliers, will have your guests in awe. This is the ideal banquet room for a wedding dinner.

The Cotillion Room

This intimate space has room for 350 seated and 500 standing guests. The Cotillion Room makes the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Your guests may enjoy views of Central Park while waiting for the wedding ceremony to start.

Garden Foyer

The Garden Foyer has room for 150 seated and 400 standing guests. Treat your guests to a cocktail hour prior to the wedding ceremony in the Garden Foyer. This lovely space features hand-painted murals and antique chandeliers.

Rotunda

For smaller, intimate weddings, The Pierre features the Rotunda room. The Rotunda has room for 50 seated and 100 standing guests. The hand-painted murals and exquisite architecture will make your wedding celebration one of a kind.

Why The Pierre Hotel is the Perfect Wedding Venue

The in-house event planners will ensure that the wedding flows smoothly from one space to the other. Weddings may start with the wedding ceremony in The Cotillion Room, transition to the Garden Foyer or the Rotunda for cocktail hour, and finish with dinner in The Grand Ballroom. You will not have to worry about a thing because they will be in good hands with The Pierre’s 5-star service.

These spaces also do not include the wedding suite that will be available for the couple to get ready on the morning of the special day. Have guests coming in from out of town? That is not a problem because The Pierre Hotel offers room blocks for any out-of-town guests.

Food at The Pierre

There is no such thing as a cookie-cutter wedding at The Pierre. The entire menu can be customized based on your preferences. The chef and tasting chef will invite you for a consultation and a private tasting prior to your big day. The venue also has the dessert side of the wedding handled. Celebrity pastry chef, Ron Ben-Israel, will design and prepare the decadent desserts. Bring your dream wedding cake to life by leaving it in the hands of a professional.

Locations for a Wedding Photoshoot

The Pierre Hotel is situated in the perfect location for taking a variety of beautiful and memorable photographs. For the first look of the couple’s pictures, or for portraits, the Rotunda room makes a gorgeous backdrop. This room features hand-painted murals and has an overall theme of chartreuse, baby blue and gold designs.

After you are finished with the Rotunda room, Central Park is a short walk away from the venue. This iconic park features iconic architecture, greenery and flowers with the added bonus of having the Manhattan skyline in the background.
