University Club NYC Wedding

Today I want to show you photos from the wedding of a very beautiful couple Elise & Alex, as well as to tell you a bit about their wedding and the gorgeous NYC venue where it took place. The bride and groom preferred the classic and elegant style of the wedding, so they chose the University Club of New York to celebrate their Big Day.

The University Club of New York wedding venue

University Club is situated at 1 West 54th Street at Fifth Avenue, in the heart of Manhattan, and offers its members various services that do not offer other clubs: here you can dine, stay in luxurious rooms, use one of the best and most beautiful libraries among the other clubs, attend a public event. The club honors the old traditions and, thanks to its loyal members, continues to conduct an active social life. Here you will be greeted with hospitality and find a cozy atmosphere. Especially for its members, University Club offers a variety of wedding halls, so you can easily entrust your memories to the club. The club can also organize a celebration of engagement and wedding shower, thу experienced and competent staff of the club will help you with that. The venue also provides a complimentary suite for the groom and bride, where they can get ready and stay for the night.

Wedding day

The first look of the bride and groom took place in the Library room where we made some intimate portraits of the couple. Alex immediately fell in love with gorgeous Elise’s Calla Blanche dress from RK Bridal, NYC. For family formals, we chose the Velvet room which was a really perfect place for such portraits. The ceremony was held in Kirkland Chapel, Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, which is located at 7 West 55th St, not far from the University Club, it’s just a 5-min walk. Service in a chapel was co-officiated by a Catholic Priest and Presbyterian Reverend. The bride was escorted by her father under the accompaniment of the song “Bridal Chorus” by Wagner Processional. After the incredibly touching ceremony which ended by the recessional song “Wedding March” by Mendelssohn, all the guests returned to the University Club for a reception which was held in the glamorous Main Dining Room.
